It began so fairly. Last July, I fancied having a bit extra Minecraft in my life once more, so I began somewhat Realms server for the RPS treehouse. Sin made a hovel. Astrid constructed a caravan. I purchased a few mates in and we made somewhat city in a canyon. It was nice. However time strikes on, and locations change. By the point summer season had rolled spherical into autumn, the unique settlers of the server had been all however vanished – Sin, certainly, had been Hounded Out.
However the place was something however deserted. I’d invited a good crowd of twitter mutuals onto the server to maintain the lights on, and so they… nicely. They obtained busy. By the final time I performed, on Halloween, I used to be referred to solely as “the Pharoah”, and a metropolis had been constructed on the foundations of our beginning settlement, by some type of Shrek-themed cargo cult. After that, my time was eaten up by different video games and different issues, and I didn’t return on the server once more. Till this morning, that’s, after I was seized by nostalgia, and grabbed just a few of the outdated regulars from the server discord to take a flip across the outdated place. After 4 months away, I figured we’d discover little greater than a Shrek-themed ghost city, and some deserted megaprojects. However I used to be flawed. In my absence, issues had solely gotten weirder. Listed here are some photographs from this unusual, melancholy expedition:
