Epic Games is finally partnering with some of its top creators for in-game skins. Ninja will be the first streamer to receive a skin.
Fortnite might have the most symbiotic relationship with creators in all of gaming. Fortnite made the careers of several streamers and YouTubers, and the attention of these creators propelled Fortnite into the stratosphere.
Ninja has been the biggest name in Fortnite since the game first released. He may not be the biggest Fortnite streamer anymore, but he’s the one who everyone knows. Every Fortnite player might know who Tfue is, but our parents know Ninja.
Since this is the case, Ninja has been asking for an in-game skin for over a year. Finally, after eleven Fortnite seasons, Ninja will be the first streamer to be immortalized in Fortnite.
Epic posted a blog on the new Ninja skin, stating that he will be the first in a line of creators to receive in-game Fortnite skins. Up next will be Loserfruit and TheGrefg.
It’s only right that Ninja is the first creator to receive an official Fortnite skin. He’s been campaigning for the game since it launched and has helped propel Fortnite to the top of the gaming world.
A few months ago, Ninja spoke out about receiving an in-game skin. He begged Epic not to take the route that PUBG did. The studio only offered skins to streamers like Dr. Disrespect and Shroud after their game started to die. He knew that Fortnite would make much more money if they released creator skins while the game was thriving.
Ninja got his wish. The skin from his thumbnails is now a reality. The only downside is that you can’t select different hair color options for the skin.
It will be exciting to see which creators will get featured next. Which creator skins would you buy? Let us know on Twitter and in the comments.
